Geek Fire Gifts Burn brightly.

Important Safety Information

Candles are not toys, and fire is something to be treated with the utmost respect and care. Please always follow these safety instructions when burning candles. Not doing so could be dangerous, or cause the candles to burn incorrectly.

  • These candles may resemble a beverage or food product, so do not attempt to eat or drink them, no matter how good they smell.
  • If there are embedded objects in the candle, extinguish it when they become exposed. After the candle has cooled completely, remove the item and gently pat the wax back into place.
  • Do not allow wax to get into a sink or plumbing system.
  • Keep candles away from children.
  • Keep the wick trimmed to no more than 1/4 of an inch. If possible, when it is cool, try and keep it centered.
  • Burn the candles on a heat resistant surface that is not prone to slipping.
  • Do not burn candles for longer than 4 hours at a time.
  • Do not move or handle candles when they are hot. Always allow them to cool completely before attempting to handle them.
  • If the flame looks too large, or the wick looks to be too long, extinguish the candle.
  • Keep all candles away from drafts or other flammable items.
  • Do not allow anything to fall into the melted wax.
  • Cease burning the candle when there is only 1/2 inch of wax remaining at the bottom.
  • Never, under any circumstances, leave a burning candle unattended.

  1. I’ll be sure to remember these tips. I don’t want to come home one day and not see my house.
