The Return from Magfest 2012

Hello all, greetings from the end of Magfest 2012.

I had a lot of fun meeting people, and showing off some of the work I've done recently. I am thinking of doing more conventions in the future, this year; being at Magfest was a bit of a last minute fluke, truth be told. I am preparing some new ideas and some old favorites to get ready for the next big convention push.

To those of you I met, or who purchased candles, it was a pleasure meeting you, and thank you very much. It means a lot to me that you liked my art. For those of you who could not make it, please feel free to send me an e-mail with any requests or commissions you may have. If you see something that you would like, or have an idea of your own, please let me know and I can see about getting it done for you. Please send me an e-mail at: E-mail address.

There were a few pieces that I've made lately that I have not posted here, including a commission of a waterfall that I did for a fine fellow from Texas. The camera had some trouble seeing around the bubbles, but it was rather large, and easy to see in person.

As I get some new creations done, I will post them here. I am also looking to finish setting up the store this week.

  1. dude these are really cool! especially the ones that look like drinks :P

  2. Hey John, I was just wondering how your commission prices work. Unfortunately I recently got laid off, and I don’t have a source of income anymore. Whatever money I have gets spent on bills, yadda yadda yadda. The point is, I need to know how much I should save up if I wanted to get something with a Final Fantasy 6 design.

    • Commission prices for pieces vary a little bit based on how complicated the designs are, and how big the candle itself is. The size of the candle also affects shipping. Feel free to send me an e-mail with your design idea and I can give you an estimate on price, and we can find something that fits into your price range.

  3. Cool stuff. Now I need to get some money…. hmmm…
